At Grace, we feel that each child deserves a good start in life. That’s why Tami and Marsha take time with each child. They will love and care for your child, and provide age-appropriate toys and activities that promote sensory stimulation.
Our infants have a room all their own, where we have cribs and a quiet place for them to sleep. For toddlers, our bright room includes tons of fun activities. In addition, we plant seeds of faith as we talk about simple concepts to the children: Jesus loves you and Jesus created you.
Our nursery is both safe and sanitary. Every worker is carefully screened and Tami sanitizes everything to give your child a safe environment. Snack is served every service, and care is taken to make sure your child has everything they need. In this way, you can feel safe and secure about your child being loved and cared for while you enjoy your time at Grace, worshipping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ--allowing you to have an optimum church experience.

Hello and welcome to the nursery page at Grace United Methodist. I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Tami Gebke, and as Nursery Director and mother of four, I would like to share with you my heart for this area of ministry. I believe each and every child is a unique creation of God, to be treasured and cared for by loving people. I pride our nursery in all of the areas that I feel are important in the life of a baby-toddler.
When your child is in the nursery, you can expect that they will be surrounded by people who truly love to be with these little ones. We do a variety of activities, including dancing, singing, all kinds of arts and crafts, stories and of course snack time--but most importantly we spend time nurturing a relationship with each and every child.
My goal as Grace’s Nursery Director is simply to provide a loving atmosphere where the beginning seeds of faith are planted and grown…so that on Sunday mornings, when it’s time to "go to church," the children are excited!! I feel very blessed to be entrusted with these little ones. Please stop by and visit us in person and see for yourselves how much we enjoy these children. I look forward to meeting you.

Children's Ministry (birth-11) Vision
Grace UMC will be a flagship place for families to raise their children in the faith...a beacon of hope in the community where families know that whatever age their kids are, there will be relevant and exciting programs that will train them up to be lifelong disciples of Christ. It will also be a place where children are excited to bring their friends (especially unsaved friends).
