Volunteer & Service Opportunities

GRUBs (GRace Unitedmethodist Builders)

The GRUBs is a group of retired men who work on construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects in and around the church and its properties. The GRUBs have been in existence since 1986 and have completed projects such as the church office area, the steel Cross outside the church, lower level remodeling, and numerous other projects around the church.

Yard Detail

Volunteers are always needed for mowing, planting flowers, landscaping, and helping to keep our grounds looking clean and well-tended. The Lawn Crew meets every Thursday morning, weather permitting, from 8:00-11:00am.

Office Help

Volunteer receptionists are used Monday-Friday, 9:00am-12:30pm and Monday-Thursday, 12:30-4:00pm. The Bulletin/Newsletter crew meets most Friday mornings at 8:00am to compile the weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter.

Children

If you have a heart for children, we would love to have you join our children’s ministry!  No experience necessary, just a heart for working with kids and helping them grow closer to our Lord Jesus Christ.  Whether it’s in the nursery with infants and toddlers, helping out in our Preschool, coaching our elementary or even helping out with administrative tasks such as event preparation, publicity or decorating, we need you!  Contact Pastor Chris at the church at 429-5374 today.

Teens

Being a teenager today is tough!  We’re looking for some adults to help our students travel down the road to adulthood.  If you’d like to journey with them, we have a number of positions available in our youth ministry department.  Whether your heart is for our Middle Schoolers or High Schoolers, you will be blessed as you minister to our students.
